History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Riardon grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Riardon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Riardon. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Cook. He became a Cook soon after.

History: Korfel hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Korfel was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Korfel decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
