Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: Dreali hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dreali was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Fortune-teller. He has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Mindartis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
