He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Rael was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rael alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theriatis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theriatis. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
