Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His first spouse was a Server, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. The war was a terrible time for him, and Raer does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Raer was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
