History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He got into the Barkeep business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and balancing his hectic life and new barkeep responsibilities is difficult

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is greedy

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Blacksmith like his father before him.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the south to a Sage, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.
