Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
