History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Nim and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nim discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Nim fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He wears yellow leather gloves, a yellow jacket, and tight pants. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Naeris took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in the west to a Banker, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has achieved small success as a Banker.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
