History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Gennal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
