History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends
