History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Rael hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He prefers to carry a sword, but if one is not available he will default to his spear. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nim. Being a Barkeep kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
