History: He was born in the west. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Lamlis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Description: This younger middle-aged man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Nutae was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nutae's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Nutae never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is greedy
