History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Tharivol began to lead the lost caravan. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Laucian is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Scribe but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Laucian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Laucian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.
