History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Vanuath was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To be a Cook again; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult
