His father taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dayereth was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
