He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paelias grew up listening to his father's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
