History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 4'11". He wears a brown vest and prefers green and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and his gloved hand is found clutching a falchion. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Varis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Born in the south to a Shoemaker, Koeth learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
