Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Mindartis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mindartis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dilettante.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again.

Description: An older man who prefers to wear blue pants and tee shirts, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
