History: Born in the west to a Laborer, Naeris learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naeris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.
