History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He worked as a nervous Masseuse and found it very stressful. He struck the Masseuse job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Masseuse responsibilities is difficult; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
