His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ahvain is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Koeth was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
