History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ahvain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Born to a Stableman, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bounty Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
