History: Mindartis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This late middle aged man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman and is in decent physical shape. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in the south to a Unemployed, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He has worked as a Unemployed like his father before him.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Uthemar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
