His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in rapier use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
