History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Uthemar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable
