History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Arannis was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Butcher. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadarai grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Butcher. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
