Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nutae grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Halimath was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
