His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Enialis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
