Gennal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Naal was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Naal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
