He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Thervan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Thervan hails from a village terrorized by drow. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Thervan began to lead the lost caravan. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family

History: Born to a Assassin, his mother struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Paelias reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
