History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Peren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Riardon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
