History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Suhnae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Suhnae. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nutae has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: He wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. He carries with him a set of halberds, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a pastel vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His white leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his pastel boots flare out at the collars. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and sabotage a competitor
