Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by drow. Through the years after Rael was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rael's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
