Personality: Aerdeth speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aerdeth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aerdeth. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
