Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is typically in his Ruler uniform. His hair is auburn and curly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Laucian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now mingles about in high society.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Halimath was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Dreali will drive conversation. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dreali grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dreali. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
