History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gennal was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Laucian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Laucian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Laucian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Laucian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
