His father taught him the rudiments of the Masseuse arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Immeral was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
