History: Erdan was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Erdan was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
