History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shipwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Lucan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Koeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Koeth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Koeth. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
