Thamior decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Thamior never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Varis abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Ahvain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
