History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rolen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bather. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thervan was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids
