History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolen was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Naill embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: 4'11" and muscular, this southern man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and wants to work out more often

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
