History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Naal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Azaki lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to end his boredom
