History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. After coming to the age of reason, Rolen took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
