History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
