History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Soveliss grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Soveliss. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Halimath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is long and brown with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: Dreali is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. After months of barely getting by, Dreali managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Himo was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he seems to be bored by most things
