Description: An older man who is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing grey cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A freak accident while working with his Bowyer father left him crippled. During his travels, Arannis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Arannis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Arannis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He carries with him a set of greataxes, each one with a amber on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His golden hair is heavily combed to the left. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Uthemar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Galinndan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Azaki was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality
