Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Koeth's homeland. Koeth decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Hadarai was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Detective. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Soveliss was born with his father's beautiful face. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
