History: Heian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Theriatis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Arannis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
