History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Raer was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tattered old clothes, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Thervan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
