History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Lamlis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Rolen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was a Marshal, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.
